HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 06172008 - 2008-303 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on (date), by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: f�q ABSTAIN: Resolution No. 2008/303 Subject: Adopt Fees for the ) Office of the Sheriff-Coroner's ) Custody Alternative Program. ) WHEREAS, State of California Penal Code Section 4024.2(e) specifies that the Board of Supervisor's may prescribe reasonable rules and regulations under which a work release program is operated. WHEREAS, in 1983, the Board of Supervisors established the Custody Alternative Program. WHEREAS, fees to participating inmates must cover the costs of providing alternatives to custody in the Custody Alternative Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors establishes the following fee structure for participating in the Custody Alternative Program. • Work Alternative Program fees from $10.00 to $ 12.00 per participant per day. • Electronic Home Detention and County Parole Program from $13.00 to $15.00 per participant per day. • Global Positioning System under the Electronic Home Detention Program set the fee at $17.00 per participant per day. • Sobrietor (sobriety monitor) set fee at $10.00 per participant per day. • Sobrietor in addition to Electronic Home Detention or Global Positioning System set the fee at an additional $4.50 per participant per day over the EHD or GPS fee, above.
