RECOGNIZING DISTRICT II AND
THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
COLLEGES ART FACULTY
INVITATIONAL EXHIBIT
WHEREAS, Contra Costa County recognizes artpassages: collections ofart from contra costa
county as an exhibition program designed to create an opportunity for artists to show their work
to a larger public, to support the larger community's awareness of and familiarity with County
artists, to form relationships with regional art organizations and educators, and to attract potential
buyers for County artists'work; and
WHEREAS,The Arts & Culture Comrrussion of Contra Costa County (AC5) is collaborating with local
artists who are associated`vith local"arts organizations„in ordeflo present their artwork; and
WHEREAS,AC5.is d privilegefo have brought together such.ar ..outstandingroup of artists/educators in

Contra Costa,County,,vho;mentor and cultivate future artists into our community; and
WHEREAS;AC5 wishes to honor these artist's/educators through this-rn�ntat anal exhibition for their
contributions to fine art and higher.edification;and'
WHEREAS, these faculty_>nenrbers from CCC Community College;Diablo Valley,Comrrunity College,
Los Medarios Communtty,,College aril Saint Mary's College of Califoimd are they themselves
