WHEREAS, Professionals who pactice in themedical 'laboratory, including pathologists, medical
technologists, cytotechnologists, hi°stotecc ologi'sts, medical laboratory technicians, histologic
technicians, and phlebotoinists are invalualile members of the patient s health care team; and
