SUBJECT: Accepting and declaring Alfaro Avenue(from North Broadway Avenue to Poinsettia
Avenue) and Siinof West Avenue (from North Broadway Avenue to Fairview
Avenue) as county roads, North Broadway Area Infrastructure Program—Phase 3,
Project No. 0662-6R4141-02, Bay Point area. (District V)
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property in the unincorporated area of Bay
Point at various times during 2003 and 2004 for roadway purposes (including Alfaro Avenue and
Siino West Avenue) as part of the North Broadway Area Infrastructure Program—Phase 3,
Project No. 0662-6R4141-02.
On September 14, 2004 this Board conveyed the surplus right of way to the adjacent
property owners and released the County of further maintenance responsibilities of surplus right
of way(Resolution No. 2004/460)hand exchanged surplus right of way to adjacent property
owners and released the County of further maintenance responsibilities of surplus right of way
and obtained land rights necessary for handicap ramps (Resolution 2004/461).

On March 15, 2005 (Resolution No. 2005/148), this Board accepted as complete the
contracted work for the North Broadway Area Infrastructure Program—Phase 3 as recommended
by the Contra Costa Public Works Director. Said contracted work included Alfaro Avenue (from
North Broadway Avenue to Poinsettia Avenue) and Siino West Avenue (from North Broadway
Avenue to Fairview Avenue).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Alfaro Avenue(from North Broadway Avenue
to Poinsettia Avenue)and Siino West Avenue(from North Broadway Avenue to Fairview Avenue)
are ACCEPTED and DECLARED to be County Roads.
