Re: Standards for the Administration of the General Assistance Program
RESOLUTION NO. 94/.23
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that:
Resolution No. 91/606, adopting standards of aid and care for the indigent and -
dependent poor of the County (General Assistance) is hereby amended as follows,
effective March 1, 1994:

(aa) Good cause may be established by showing that the recipient's failure or
refusal to comply with program requirements was not willful, and no more than
two times, a recipient may establish good cause by showing that the recipient
failed to comply with program requirements on account of the recipient's
negligence. Such showings are subject to rebuttal. These provisions do not limit
other grounds, including negligence, which may otherwise be advanced as
good cause.
