APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS
1. 27 Auditor-Controller. Add $6 ,423 from Reserve for Prior Year
Obligations for various appropriations to cover prior year
purchases which were not encumbered and carried over in amounts
adequate to cover final cost.
1. 28 Clerk-Recorder (Elections) . Add $302, 210 for acquisition and
implementation of the Mark-a-Vote ballot .tabulating system as
authorized by Board of Supervisors on December 8 , 1981. This
appropriation is to be financed by a transfer of $211,000 from
the Reserve for Contingencies, $41 , 510 of additional revenue
for election services and internal appropriation transfers of
$49 , 700.
1 . 29 Health Services. Appropriate $12 , 211 of grant revenue for
renovation of Discovery House at Pacheco.
1. 30 Public Works (Solid Waste Management) . Appropriate additional
revenue of $3 , 150 and add $3 , 900 from Reserve for Contingencies
to expand the white office paper recycling program as authorized
by the Board of Supervisors on January 19 , 1982 .

a traffic report on projections for Interstate 680 at Sycamore
Valley Road, Crow Canyon Road, and Alcosta Boulevard for use
by Caltrans in preparing a report seeking Federal Aid funding;
cost of the report has been borne by a local developer.
