At the conclusion of the meeting, the Board will adjourn to
meet with Congressman George Miller regarding mental health
financing issues on Friday, December 17, 1982, at 3 00 P M in the
County Hospital Conference Room, 2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez, and
to the Finance Committee meeting on Monday, December 20, 1982, at
9 00 A M to review report of the County Administrator with respect
to current County fiscal projections for fiscal year 1982-1983
The Board meets in all its capacities pursuant to Ordinance

contracting with Far West Collection Services, and authorize

1 82 ADOPT resolution designating County Planning Department as the
single administrative entity to coordinate review of and provide
information on status of all local permits for residential
development pro3ects, as required by AB 941 (1981) and as
recommended by the Director of Planning
1 83 AUTHORIZE Chair to execute on behalf of the County any docu-
ments necessary to request that the Governor designate the
County of Contra Costa, with the exception of the City of
Richmond, as a service delivery area as is provided for under
the newly enacted Federal Job Training Partnership Act
1 84 APPROVE and authorize the County Purchasing Agent to execute on
behalf of the County a contract extension agreement with
Devereux Foundation for residential placement and care of one
mentally disturbed patient which extends the existing ter-
mination date to June 30, 1983, and increases the payment limit
$6, 438 to a new total of $12,876; in connection therewith,
authorize Health Services Director to issue a 30-day advance
written contract termination notice in order to terminate the
contract effective January 31, 1983, and direct the Health
Services Director to work with County Counsel and Protection &
Advocacy, Inc in their efforts to obtain funding from the
Regional Center of the East Bay for this individual
1 85 ADOPT resolution on compensation provisions and terms and con-
ditions of employment for the deep class of Public Health Nurse
1 86 ADOPT resolution establishing compensation provisions and terms
