RESOLUTION HONORING DOUGLAS RESOLUTION NO. 2004/ 58$
TUBB UPON HIS RETIREMENT FROM
THE CROCKE"IT-VALONA SANITARY
DISTRICT AFTER id YEARS AS DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, Douglas Tubb was elected to the Board of Directors of the Crockett-Valona unitary
District in November 1988 and thereafter re-elected Director in 1992, 1998, and in 2000. He served
as President of the District daring 1994, 1998 and 2002, and
WHEREAS, Douglas Tubb has been very energetic in his service on the board, taking a leadership
role on solid waste issues and many others, including service on the Crockett Area interim Solid
Waste and Recycling Committee since 1997; and
WHEREAS, Douglas Tubb brought to the Board a great sense of humor, clarity of understanding on
various issues and an ability to articulate proper conclusions. Douglas Tubb will retire from the
Sanitary Board on December 7, 2004 after sixteen years of service;and
WHEREAS, Douglas Tubb has served actively.,ort the board Of the Crockett Improvement Association
since 1985, being energetic in town cleansr� iri " rfiit the 80th anniversary celebration and

the Charlie Wind Memorial and hayetYtua> tle inibir cif rockett's volunteer fire
department since 1988; and
