In the Matter of opposing
passage of provisions of RESOLUTION NO. 70/88
Airport Airways Development
Act of 1970 (H. R. 14465) .
WHEREAS the Berate Finance Committee has approved House-
passed provisions in the Airport Airways Development Act of 1970

established tradition of tax immunity between the Federal Government,
the states and their political subdivisions; and
WHEREAS the National Association of Counties urges all
counties to support an amendment (Amendment Number 478) by Senator
Ted Stevens, and others, to retain the exemption;
