RESOLUTION ADDING AN EXTENDED SERVICE TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA
NO. RD-2 AND CHANGING THE NAME OF SAID COUNTY SERVICE
AREA TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. M-13
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On Tuesday, April 14, 1970 , pursuant to Resolution No. 70/136,
this Board held a public hearing on the proposed addition of street
lighting service to County Service Area No. RD-2 and on the proposed
change of name of said County Service Area to County Service Area
No. M-13. The boundaries of said territory are set forth in Exhibit
"A," attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein.
Notice of said hearing was duly given in the manner required
by law, and at the hearing, no person appeared to protest or testify
either for or against the proposed addition of the extended service
and the proposed change of name.
This Board hereby orders that street lighting services be
added to County Service Area No. RD-2 pursuant to the provisions
of Government Code Section 25210.35, and that except where funds
are otherwise available from service charges collected pursuant
to Government Code Section 25210.77a, a tax sufficient to pay for
such additional extended service will be levied annually upon all
the taxable property within said territory.
This Board hereby also orders that the name of said County
Service Area be changed to County Service Area No. M-13.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on April 14, 1970, by this Board.
