"Read---Look--Listen in Your Library"; and WHEREAS the purpose of National Library Week, sponsored. and. promoted by citizens throughout the country, is to maintain the rights of citizens to full freedom of inquiry and freedom to read, and. to encourage the development and use of libraries as centers of inspiration, education, and recreation for people of all ages; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Super- visors of Contra Costa County hereby designates the week of April 12-18 , 1970 as National Library Week and urges its observance throughout the County. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of March, 1970, by the following vote of the Board.: AYES: Supervisors J. P. Kenner, A. M. Dias , J. E. Moriarty, E. A. L nscheid, T. J. Coll. NOES: None.
