SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property
West Contra Costa Unified School District
Pinole Creek, Project No.7505-6F8173
Pinole Area
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Flood
Control and Water Conservation District, RESOLVES THAT:
The District acquired certain real property in the Pinole area for Pinole Creek by deed
recorded on February 24, 1958, in Book 3125 of Official Records at page 330. A small portion
of said property, described in Exhibit"A" attached hereto, is determined to be surplus and no
longer needed for District, County, or other public purposes, and its estimated value does not
exceed $10,000.00. The property is to be incorporated into the adjacent school grounds.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property to
the West Contra Costa Unified School District, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5
and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the
District.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to the
grantee.
