RESOLUTION NO. 96/ 207
SUBJECT: INTENTION TO LEVY ANNUAL STREET LIGHTING SERVICE CHARGES IN COUNTY
SERVICE AREAS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-1997
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board hereby approves the recommendation of the Public Works Director that the Board levy street lighting
services charges under the provisions of County Ordinance No. 79/42 within the boundaries of County Service
Area L-100 (Countywide).
This Board hereby DECLARES its intention to approve the Preliminary Engineer's Report and to levy and collect
street lighting service charges pursuant to County Ordinance No. 79/42. The purpose of the service charge is
to finance public street lighting within County Service Area L-100.
The Preliminary Engineer's Report, on file with the Clerk of this Board, contains a list of the County service
areas, the method used to determine the service charge, the identification of each parcel of real property subject
to a service charge, and the amount of the proposed service charge for each County service area.
This Board will hold a hearing on July 9, 1996, at 9:45 a.m. in the Board's Chambers, County Administration
Building, Martinez, California, on the question of levying the proposed service charges.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to give notice of said hearing pursuant to Section 6061 of the
Government Code.
