SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property
for the Richmond Parkway
San Pablo Creek Surplus
Project No. 4500-6X9004
Richmond Area
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Flood
Control and Water Conservation District, Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT:
The District acquired certain real property for San Pablo Creek, as described in
Exhibit"A" attached hereto. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer
necessary for District or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed
$10,000.00. The City of Richmond requires said property for the Richmond Parkway.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property
interests to the City of Richmond, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the
Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County.
The Chief Engineer is hereby AUTHORIZED to sign the Right of Way Contract with the
City of Richmond on behalf of the District.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be delivered
to the grantee.

Real property in Lot 201 of San Pablo Rancho filed March 1, 1894 in Contra Costa County,
California, being portions of PARCEL ONE described in the Final Order of Condemnation by
Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (hereinafter referred to
as CCCFC & WCD) recorded June 5, 1990 in Volume 15902 of Official Records at page 1,
further described as follows:
Parcel X1258.1-1: Permanent Slope and Drainage Easement (Parcel 4A-417-1)
Beginning on the east line of CCCFC &WCD PARCEL ONE (15902 O.R. 1) at the southern
terminus of a curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 200.00 feet on the boundary
of Parcel 14A described in the deed to Contra Costa County recorded June 7, 1973 in Volume
6964 of Official Records at page 868; thence from the Point of Beginning along the boundary
common to PARCEL ONE and Parcel 14A, south 1018'49"west 9.79 feet, to a point hereinafter
referred to as POINT A; thence leaving said common boundary, north 79024'50"west 49.65
feet; thence north 1018'49"east 72.00 feet; thence north 88041'11"west 5.00 feet; thence north
1018'49" east 66.48 feet to a point of cusp with said common boundary, hereinafter referred
to as POINT B, on the arc of said curve having a radius of 200.00 feet, a radial to POINT B
bears north 48012'01" east; thence non-tangent along said arc, southeasterly and southerly
150.49 feet, through a central angle of 43006'48", to the Point of Beginning.

along the boundary common to PARCEL ONE and Parcel 14A, south 3034'31"west 39.07 feet,
to the western terminus of a non-tangent curve concave to the southwest having a radius of
200.00 feet to which a radial bears north 3°34'31" east; thence continuing along said common
boundary, being the arc of said curve, southerly 62.58 feet, through a central angle of

of Beginning along the boundary common to CCCFC & WCD PARCEL ONE (15902 O.R. 1)
and Contra Costa County Parcel 14A(6964 O.R. 868), south 1 018'49"west 10.13 feet; thence
north 79024'50"west 59.78 feet; thence north 1018'49"east 70.50 feet; thence north 8841'11"
west 5.00 feet; thence north 1 018'49" east 66.29 feet; thence south 65047'05" east 10.86 feet
to the most western line of Parcel X1258.1-1; thence along the boundary thereof as follows:
1) south 1 °18'49" west 52.07 feet, 2) south 88°41'11" east 5.00 feet, 3) south 1 0 18'49"west

leaving said south line, south 65°47'05" east 39.15 feet; thence north 80°22'11" west 32.92
feet; thence north 82003'25" west 174.92 feet; thence north 1 005'58" east 10.07 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 1,894 square feet of land, more or less.
Parcel X1258.1-5: Temporary Easement for Construction and Detour Purposes to expire

Beginning at POINT B described in Parcel X1258.1-1 of this document; thence from the Point
of Beginning along the west line thereof, south 1°18'49" west 14.41 feet; thence leaving said
west line, north 6547'05" west 212.35 feet, to the south line of Parcel X1258.1-2 of this
document, thence along said south line, south 82003'25" east 4.81 feet and south 80022'11"
east 115.07 feet, to the most eastern corner of Parcel X1258.1-2 on the boundary common to
CCCFC & WCD PARCEL ONE (15902 O.R. 1) and Contra Costa County Parcel 14A (6964
O.R. 868) being the arc.of a curve concave to the southwest having a radius of 200.00 feet to
which a radial bears north 21 030'16" east; thence along said common boundary, southeasterly
93.19 feet, through a central angle of 26041'45" to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 4,116 square feet of land, more or less.
