THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

SUBJECT: Conveyance of County Owned Excess Real Property
to Ambrose Park Recreation & Parkway District
Portion of Assessor's Parcel No. 094-016-XXX
Project No. 4660-6X4158
Bay Point Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board on February 14, 1995, passed Resolution No. 95/58 and Notice fixing
March 7, 1995, at 9:00 a.m., in its Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez,
California, as the time and place when it would meet to consummate the conveyance of
the real property described therein to Ambrose Park Recreation & Parkway District,
including purchase of additional property from said District; said Notice was duly published
in the Contra Costa Times.
This Board, hereby finds that said property is no longer required for present or
future County use and the exchange of real property with Ambrose Park Recreation &
Parkway District for property adjacent to Cc?anty property is of equal value.
This Board hereby.:
A. APPROVESthe Right of Way Contract between Contra Costa Count; and
Ambrose Park Recreation & Parkway District and the conveyance of the
property located in the Bay Point area, to Ambrose Park Recreation &
Parkway District upon Ambrose Park Recreation & Parkway District
conveying adjacent property to the County;
B. ACCEPTSthe deed and easements dated January 25, 1995, from Ambrose
Park Recreation & Parkway District;
C. AUTHORIZES the Public Works Director to execute said Right of Way
Contract.

D. AUTHORIZES the Board Chair to execute a Grant Deed to Ambrose Park
Recreation & Parkway District on behalf of the County;
E. APPROVEpayment of$493,032 as balance of acquisition and exchange for
said property rights;
F. AUTHORIZES the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in said amount
payable to Old Republic Title Company, 3685 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Ste 110,
Lafayette, CA., 94549, Escrow No.: 185257 to be forwarded to the Real
Property Division for delivery;
G. DIRECTS the Real Property Division to have the above referenced Grant
Deed and Grants of Easement recorded in the office of the County
Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on March 7, 1995, by at least a four-fifths vote of the
Board.
