HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 06211994 - 94-377 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on June 21, 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Supervsors Smith, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 94/377 SUBJECT: In the Matter of Amending Resolution 94/51 ) (Management & Unrepresented Employees ) Compensation) to Reflect Salary Spinoff for ) Physician Management Classes ) WHEREAS the Board'l'of Supervisors of Contra Costa County adopted Resolution 94/51 setting salaries and�benefits for Management and Unrepresented employees for the period of October 111 1993 through September 30, 1995; and iP WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Union of American Physicians and Dentists for the period of October 1, 1993 through December 31, 1995; and iX WHEREAS the County Administrator has recommended that adjustments be made to physician management classifications to restore parity with represented classifications; now;' THEREFORE: The Board of Supervisors Resolves that effective on the dates indicated, Resolution 94/51 is amended for the following physician management classes: 1. DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL STAFF AFFAIRS (VPS4) MEDICAL DIRECTOR (VCA2) DATE . SALARY RANGE 2/1/94 C1-2842 ($9462) 7/1/941 C1-2863 ($9663) 1/1/95'111 C1-2892 ($9947) 7/1/95 C1-2916 ($10188) 2. MENTAL HEALTH MEDICAL DIRECTOR (VPD1) DATE' SALARY RANGE 4/1/94 C1-2842 ($9462) 7/1/94 C1-2863 ($9663) 1/1/95! C1-2892 ($9947) 7/1/95' C1-2916 (10188) 3. A. In lieu of retroactive pay requiring payroll recomputation processing back ttlo February 1, 1994, the County will make a lump sum payment to each employee in the class of Director of Medical Staff Affairs (VPS4) for the period from February 1, 1994 through May 31, 1994 computed as follows: Employee regular pay, overtime pay and specific other earnings will be added together for each applicable pay period to i RESOLUTION N0. 94/377 r. determine the retro Pay Base (RPB). This base will be multiplied by 5.1%. B. In lieu of retroactive pay requiring payroll recomputation processing back to February 1, 1994, the County will make a lump sum.payment to each employee in the class of Medical Director (V CA2) for the period from February 1, 1994 through May 31, 1994 computed as follows: Employee regular pay, overtime pay and specific other earnings will be added together for each applicable pay period to determine the retro Pay Base (RPB). This base will be multiplied by 5.3%. C. In lieu of retroactive pay requiring payroll recomputation processing back toi April 1, 1994, the County will make a lump sum payment to each employee in the class of Mental Health Medical Director (VPD1) for the period from April 1, 1994 through May 31, 1994 computed as follows a„ Employee regular pay, overtime pay and specific other earnings will be added together for each applicable pay period to determine the retro Pay Base (RPB). This base will be multiplied by 5.1%. The payment amount thus computed will be added to the employees' July 8, 1994, paycheck where it will be listed separately as a LUMP SUM PAYMENT and will be subject to normal tax withholding and retirement deduction requirements. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and Correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Sups3visors n the date shown.
