HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 03221994 - 94-181 1.56 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopt this Order on March 22, 1994 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Smith, Bishop, McPeak, Torlakson and Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN; None ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUBJECT: Lump Sum Payment ) Resolution No. 94/181 for Municipal Court ) Division Supervisor ) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVE THAT: Effective March 1, 1994 the class of Municipal Court Division Supervisor (formerly Deputy Clerk Division Supervisor) shall receive a 1.10 (11 levels) salary adjustment (to maintain differential as required by the Court Pay and Staffing Bill). In lieu of retroactive pay, employees will receive a lump sum payment computed as. follows: Employees' regular pay and overtime pay and specific other earnings ordinarily computed as a percentage of base pay will be added together for each applicable pay period to determine the Retro Pay Base. This Base will then be multiplied by 1.1% to arrive at the employee's lump sum payment. This computation will be for pay periods beginning July 1, 1992 through February 28, 1994. The lump sum,payment is applicable to employees in active status as of February 1, 1994. The payment amount thus computed will be added to the employee's paycheck where it will be listed separately as a LUMP SUM PAYMENT and will be subject to normal tax withholding and retirement deduction requirements. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and cornectcopyof an action taken and ontered on the minutes of the Board of Supervi )rs o the date shown.
