IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Honoring ) MARCELLA COLARICH ) RESOLUTION NO. 94/177 WHEREAS, Marcella Colarich is an-outstanding citizen of Contra Costa County, both through her professional and civic contributions, and WHEREAS, Marcella is a strong and consistent friend of Phoenix Programs Incorporated, a non- profit organization which serves the mentally disabled, and she has been honored by Phoenix for her dedicated service; and WHEREAS, Marcella is actively involved in Democratic politics in the county. She has served on the Democratic Central Committee and lent her talents to many campaigns. Her participation led her to becoming the Co-Chair of the McPeak Breakfast Council, a title she has held for the past 16 years; and WHEREAS. Marcella is a successful businesswoman, having started her own real estate business and now employs a good number of agents; and WHEREAS, Marcella is a member of the Soroptimists International of Pleasant Hill, has served on the Contra Costa County Retirement Board, and is an active member at St. Agnes Church; and WHEREAS, Marcella is a gracious and effective person. She is always ready to give to her community, and we are all fortunate to have benefitted from her contributions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors MARCELLA COLARICH and wishes her continued success with her volunteer and professional endeavors. PASSED AND ADOPTED ON March 22, 1994, by a unanimous vote of the Board members present.
