The Board of Supervisors, RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on November 28, 1989, contracted with
Arntz Builders for Construction of Forensic Science Facility, 1960
Muir Road, Martinez, Budget Line Item No. 0119-4282, Authorization
No. 0928-WH282B, with American Motorists Insurance Company as
surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the County; and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been
inspected and complies with the construction contract documents and
recommends its acceptance as complete as of June 25, 1991; and
recommends the withholding of $19,550 . 00 pursuant to a letter dated
June 11, 1991;
Therefore, said work is accepted as completed on said date, and the
Clerk shall file with the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution
and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said contract; and the
Director of General Services is directed to withhold monies
otherwise due pursuant to the letter dated June 11, 1991 .
PASSED BY THE BOARD on June 25, 1991, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson and Powers
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
