The Board of Supervisors, RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on February 27, 1990, contracted with
Dickman-Nourse, Inc. , for Construction of Central County
Corporation Yard, for Public Works Department, Imhoff Place and
Imhoff Drive, Martinez, Budget Line Item No. 0674-4181,
Authorization No. 0928-WH181B, with American Home Assurance Company
as surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the County;
and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been
inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions,
and standard specifications, and recommends its acceptance as
complete as of March 19 , 1991; and recommends the withholding of
$84,000 . 00 pursuant to a letter dated March 5, 1991, signed by the
Contractor;
Therefore, said work is accepted as completed on said date, and the
Clerk shall file with the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution
and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said contract; and the
Director of General Services is directed to withhold monies
otherwise due pursuant to the letter of March 5, 1991 signed by the
Contractor.
PASSED BY THE BOARD on March 19, 1991, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson and Powers
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
