O. 1810 ) to Vacate a Public Street Crockett Area ) (S. & H. C. Sec. 8320) RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC STREET The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Pursuant to Chapter 3 , "General Vacation Procedure, " of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, this Board declares its intention to vacate portions of the County streets commonly known as Francis Street and 7th Street which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. This proposed vacation is generally located in the area of Crockett. A map of the portion to be vacated is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on Tuesday, September 12 , 1989, at 11: 00 a.m. in its Chambers, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to hear evidence offered by any interested party as to whether this is unnecessary for present or prospec- tive public use. This Board DIRECTS the Clerk to have a copy of this resolution of intention published in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in this County, which is selected as the newspaper most likely to give notice to persons interested in the proposed vacation, for at least two successive weeks before the hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Sections 8320 and 8322. Said notice shall be posted conspicuously along the line of this proposed vacation at least two weeks before the hearing, in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Section 8323 . Orig. PARCEL TWO - gE= AVENUE - AREA A All of the 50.00 feet in width roadway known as Seventh Avenue shown on the Map of the Town of Valona filed April 15, 1887 in Book E of Maps at page 117, Records of Contra Costa County, California, more particularly described as follows: All of said Seventh Avenue that is bounded on the north by the southerly right or way line of Francis Street and on the south by the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 4 of Block 24 as shown on said map (E M 117) . PARCEL THREE - SEVENTH.AVENUE - AREA B All of the 50.00 feet in width roadway in the Town of Crockett known as Seventh Avenue that is bounded on the south by the northerly right of way line of Francis Street and on the north by a line connecting the northeasterly corner of the parcel of land described in the deed to Donald W. Dempster recorded June 15, 1988 in Book 14393 at page 293, Official Records of Contra Costa County, California, and the northwesterly corner of the parcel of land described in the deed to Becky Silberberg arra Richard Campleman, Jr. recorded September 2, 1988 in Book 14558 at page 850, Official Records of said County. RESERVING THEREFROM PARCEL ONE, PARCEL TWO, AND PARCEL THREE: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew those existing and in place _ utilities, as of the date of recording this instrument, in, upon, over and across any highway or part thereof proposed to be abandoned, including access to protect the property from all hazards, in, upon, and over the area herein before described to be abandoned.
