HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 07181989 - 89-479 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Declaring ) July 20, 1989 Contra Costa ) RESOLUTION NO. 89/479 Black Chamber of Commerce Day ) WHEREAS, the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has worked consistently, "Taking Care of Business, " to improve the communication and cooperation between all segments of the small and large business community throughout Contra Costa County; and WHEREAS, the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has worked consistently to encourage, develop and promote increased cooperation and communication with other larger businesses, corporations and the community at large; and WHEREAS, the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has sponsored educational meetings, forums, workshops, business development conferences and trade shows for business and the community at large; and WHEREAS, the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has provided these services and other technical assistance since its inception in 1983 ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County proclaims July 20, 1989 as "Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce Day" throughout Contra Costa County in recognition of the services provided and the role played in the positive growth and development of the County by the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce. PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board on July 18, 1989. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy an order entered on the minutes of said Board of Supervisors on the date aforesaid.
