SUBJECT: AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED)
BY HEALTH & SAFETY CODE SECTION 33327 AND )
ESTABLISHING THE BASE YEAR FOR TAX ALLOCATION )
PURPOSES FOR THE OAKLEY REDEVELOPMENT PLAN. )
The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency RESOLVES THAT:
On October 4, 1988, by Resolution No. 88/645 , the Board of
Supervisors of Contra Costa County designated the boundaries of
the Oakley Redevelopment Survey Area.
On November 14, 1988, by Resolution No. 72-1988 (EC) , the East
County Regional Planning Commission selected the Oakley
Redevelopment Project Area ( the "Project Area" ) and adopted a
Preliminary Plan for the Project Area.
On November 29 , 1988 ? by Resolution No. RA-88-18 , the
Redevelopment Agency of. Contra Costa County (the "Agency" )
approved the Preliminary Plan for the Project Area.
On February 17 , 1989, the Agency temporarily suspended the
process of adopting a Redevelopment Plan for the Oakley Area in
order to coordinate the Redevelopment Plan adoption process with
the proposed Oakley Area General Plan adoption.
It is now the desire of the Agency to proceed with the formal
adoption of a Redevelopment Plan for the Project Area.
Pursuant to California Health & Safety Code Section 33327, after
receipt of a preliminary redevelopment plan, the Agency is
required to submit various documents to the County Auditor,
County Assessor, County Tax Collector, the State Board of
Equalization, and to the legislative or governing bodies of
local agencies which receive a portion of the property tax
generated in the Project Area.
THEREFORE, the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency hereby
reconfirms its previous acceptance and approval of the
Preliminary Plan adopted by the East County Regional Planning
Commission as the Preliminary Plan for the Oakley Project Area.
The Agency hereby designates fiscal year 1989-90 as the base
year assessment roll it shall use for the allocation of taxes.
The Agency hereby authorizes the transmittal of the documents
required by California Health & Safety Code Section 33327 and
authorizes and directs the Executive Director to continue to
take all steps deemed reasonable and necessary to effectuate
adoption of a Redevelopment Plan for the Project Area.
