Subject: Quitclaim of County Interest in Real Property
Pacheco Area
Project No. 0676-6Q1803
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On January 24, 1989, the Board adopted Resolution No. 89/57
which vacated a portion of Union Street. This Board hereby
DETERMINES that said land, described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, was previously subject to a street, highway or public
service easement, and is no longer needed by the County. This
Board hereby determines that any County right, title and interest
in said property should be quitclaimed to the adjacent owner,
Kenneth M. and Patricia A. Moore.
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code, Section 8355 this Board
hereby APPROVES quitclaim of County interest and AUTHORIZES the
Chairman to sign a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be
delivered to grantee.
The Board hereby FINDS that the project is exempt from
Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class 12
Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and DIRECTS the
Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the
County Clerk. The project has been determined to conform to the
County General Plan.
I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of
an action taken and entered on the minutes of the
Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
