HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 07121988 - 88-427 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on July 12 , 1988 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson, Schroder. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None. 2nd Annual Contra Costa County Employees Recognition Day 88/427 Thursday, August 4, 1988 is hereby designated by the Board of Supervisors as Contra Costa County Employees Recognition Day. A special recognition outing is scheduled for County employees to attend an evening of baseball at the Oakland Coliseum. To specifically recognize performance excellence, the Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the expenditure of Three thousand dollars ($3,000) for the purchase of employee recognition items including two hundred pairs of admission tickets to the. baseball game on Thursday evening, August 4, 1988 between the Oakland "A's" and the Seattle Mariners. Said tickets are to be awarded individually by departments in special recognition of outstanding service to deserving employees throughout the County.
