SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property
Contra Costa County Storm Drain District Zone 16
Project No. 7505-6F8260
Pleasant Hill Area
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of Contra ,
Costa County Flood Control, and Water Conservation District
RESOLVES THAT:
The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conserva-
tion District successor in interest to the Contra Costa County
Storm Drain District Zone 16, acquired a drainage easement by
deed recorded September 13, 1966 in Book 4950 of Official Records
at page 219. Said easement provided a quitclaim of any portion
of the easement area „ not required for storm drain facilities.
Said easement is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer required
for any District or public purposes and its estimated value does
not exceed $10, 000. 00.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance
of said property to George Wimpy, Inc. , pursuant to Government
Code Section 25526. 5 and the Board Chair is hereby ;AUTHORIZED to
execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the District.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the
Quitclaim Deed to be delivered to the grantee.
The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a
significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the
project is exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act as a Class 2 Categorical Exemption
under County Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA
Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a
Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. This activity has
been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of Pleasant
Hill.
