Capital Expenditure Bond Act
of 1986 (Juvenile Facilities) -
Second Cycle Funding
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
RESOLVES THAT:
Gerald S. Buck, County Probation Officer, is authorized
and directed to submit an application for funds to the Department
of the Youth Authority, State of California, pursuant to the
County Correctional Facility Capital Expenditure Bond Act of 1986
(Section 4216 . 1 and 4218..1(b) , California Administrative Code) .
. This application for second cycle funding which has
been made available is as follows: '
1. Rebuild the fire alarm system at Byron Boys ' Ranch
to eliminate a significant safety hazard.
2. It is estimated that this additional project will
cost $5 , 200. 00.
3 . Contra Costa County will provide hard matching
funds in the amount of $1,000 . 00 for architectural
programming and design.
4. Contra Costa County will provide soft matching
funds in the amount of $320. 00 for County manage-
ment and administrative costs.
5 . Contra Costa County intends to finance all ongoing
operating costs associated with this project.
6. Gerald S. Buck, County Probation Officer, is
hereby authorized to sign either a contract or a
contract amendment on behalf of Contra Costa
County with the Department of the Youth Authority
for this project.
