SUBJECT: �' Approving Plans and Specifications
for Fuel Tank Replacement at Fire Station No. 41
Moraga Area
Authorization No. WPE525
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications for Fuel Tank Replacement at
Fire Station No. 41, 1280 Moraga Way, Moraga, have been filed with
the Board this day by the Director of General Services; and

WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were prepared by Armas
Sootaru, Architect for the General Services Department; and
WHEREAS the Architect' s cost estimate for initial construction
contract is $25,000.00 base bid; and
WHEREAS the general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be
the minimum rates paid on this project, have been approved by this
Board; and
WHEREAS the Board hereby finds that the project is exempt from
Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class ld Categorical
Exemptions' under County Guidelines and directs the Director of
General Services to file a Notice of Exemption with the County
Clerk;
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of the Moraga
Fire Protection District, RESOLVES that said Plans and
Specifications are hereby APPROVED. Bids for this work will be
received on June 11, 1987 at 2 :00 p.m. , and the Clerk of this Board
is DIRECTED to publish Notice to Contractors in accordance with
Section 13885 of Health and Safety Code, inviting bids for said
work, said Notice to be published in Contra Costa Times
