Sec. 7900 ff. , & Elec.C. Sec. 3750 ff. ) "The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: 1. Date, Consolidate. Pursuant to Section 4 of Article XIII-B of the California State Constitution, an appropriations limit increase election is hereby called for County Service Area No. R-7 , Zone A, on June 2 , 1987 and it shall be consolidated with any other election( s ) in Zone A on that date. 2 . Ballot Measure. This election shall be conducted by submitting to the voters of the Zone A a ballot measure in substantially the. following form: "Shall the appropriations limit under California Article XIII-B for County Service Area R-7 Zone A be increased to $250 , 000 and adjusted for changes in the cost of living and population, with the increase effective for the fiscal years 1985-1986 through 1988- 1989 (inclusive) to provide for the expenditure of funds that will be available to the Service Area during the stated fiscal years? . " 3 . Notice, Conduct. The County Clerk (Elections) shall take all steps necessary to provide appropriate .notice of the election and to conduct it in accordance with applicable provisions of the Elections Code (Sec . 3750 ff. ) . 4 . Not Mail-Ballot. The election shall not be by mail ballot. PASSED and Adopted on March 3, 1987 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder , Torlakson , McPeak. NOES: None .
