The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On November 19, 1985 in Resolution 85/665, pursuant to Chapter 3,
"General Vacation Procedure," of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and
Highways Code, this Board declared its intention to vacate the County street
commonly known as Buskirk Avenue, lying north of ,Las Juntas Way. This
proposed vacation is generally located in the area of Pleasant Hill . A
map of the portion to be vacated is on file in the Public Works Department.
A hearing was held Tuesday, December 17, 1985 and this Board agreed to
vacate this area subject to certain conditions described in Resolution
85/744, passed December 17, 1985.
This Board now fixes Tuesday, June 3, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. in its
Chambers, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California,
as the time and place for hearing evidence offered by any interested party
as to whether Resolution No. 85/744 should be amended to modify the legal
description, to read as shown in attached Exhibit "A", to exclude the
portion of Buskirk lying within the limits of the City of Pleasant Hill
which is not owned by the County and to remove the condition that vacation
shall not occur until the area described in Exhibit "A" attached to
Resolution 85/744 has been superseded by relocation for the reason that
said condition is. no longer in the Public's interest.
The Clerk shall have a copy of this resolution of intention published
in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in this.
County, which is selected as the newspaper most likely to give notice to
persons interested in the proposed vacation, for at least two successive
weeks before the hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code,
Sections 8320 and 8322. Notice shall also be posted conspicuously along
the line of this proposed vacation at least two weeks before the hearing,

an action taken and entered on the mhiutes of the
Board of Supervisors on the date shown.

the County street commonly known as Las Juntas Way lying between Buskirk
and Brockhurst Court and described in attached Exhibit "A". This proposed
vacation is generally located in the area of Pleasant Hill . A map of the
portion to be vacated is on file in the Public Works Department. A
hearing was held Tuesday, December 17, 1985 and the Board agreed to vacate
this area subject to certain conditions described in Resolution 85/746,
passed December 17, 1985.
