HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 03041986 - 86-101 X.3 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Proclaiming ) March 6, 1986 as "Contra Costa ) RESOLUTION NO. 86/101 Black Chamber of Commerce Day ) WHEREAS the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has worked consistently to bridge the gap and improve communication and cooperation between all segments of the small and large business community throughout Contra Costa County; and WHEREAS the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has worked consistently to encourage, develop and promote increased cooperation and communication with other larger businesses, corporations and the community-at-large; and WHEREAS the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has sponsored educational meetings and forums for businesses and the community-at-large; WHEREAS the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce has provided these and other services and technical assistance since its inception in 1985; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County that March 6 , 1986 is PROCLAIMED as "CONTRA COSTA BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DAY" throughout Contra Costa County in recognition of the services provided and the role played in the positive growth of the County by the Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce. PASSED on March 4, 1986 by unanimous vote of the Board members present. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of an order, entered on the minutes of said Board of Supervisors on the date aforesaid.
