HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 03111986 - 86-126 I \ 1-®51 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on March ll , 1986 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson and Powers NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: First Combined Amendment RESOLUTION NO. 86/126 of 1986 of the County General Plan as it Applies to the Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill Areas The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: PART I - General . Contra Costa County is carrying out a program to systematically review the County General Plan for the purposes of keeping the Plan up to date and achieving consistency with the County's development ordi- nance. California Planning Law provides that each General Plan Element mandated by the State cannot be amended more than four times in the Calendar Year 1986. The Board has considered the proposals described in Parts II , III , IV, V and VI below to amend the County General Plan, and at public hearings declared its intent and directed staff to prepare this resolution for adoption. The Board therefore declares that adoption actions described below are to constitute its first amendment of the Land Use Element and other mandatory elements of the County General Plan in Calendar year 1986. Part II - Walnut Creek Area. A copy of Resolution No. 65-1985 adopted f/by the Contra Costa County Planning Commission is on file with this Board in which the Commission sets forth its report on the proposed amendment of the County General Plan for the Permabilt Property on Tice Valley Boulevard as described in the Board's subsequent Resolution No. 86/37. This Board hereby adopts the amendment to the County General Plan for the Permabilt Property as specified in the Board Resolution No. 85/37 as part of this first combined amendment to the County General Plan, including both the filed Plan, text, and map prepared by the Community Development. A copy of the Plan map and text reflecting this amendment, on file in the office of the Clerk of the board, shall be endorsed approved by the, Clerk as provided therein. PART III - Walnut Creek Area. A copy of Resolution No. 61-1985 /adopted by the Contra Costa County Planning Commission is on file with this Board in which the Commission sets forth its report on the proposed amendment of the County General Plan for the Thomas Property in the Walnut Creek Area as de- scribed in the Board's subsequent Resolution No. 86/38. This Board hereby adopts the amendment of the County General Plan for Thomas Property as specified in Board Resolution No. 86/38 as part of this com- bined amendment to the County General Plan, including both the filed Plan, text and map, prepared by the Community Development Department. The copy of the Plan, map and text reflecting this amendment, on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board, shall be endorsed approved. RESOLUTION NO. 86/126 RESOLUTION NO. 86/ 126 PART IV - Walnut Creek Area. A copy of Resolution No. 59-1985 adopted ✓' by the Contra Costa County Planning Commission is on file with the Board in which the Commission sets forth its report on the proposed amendment of the County General Plan for the Cherry Lane North area in the Walnut Creek Area as described in the Board's subsequent Resolution No., 86/49. This Board hereby adopts the amendment to the County General Plan for Cherry Lane North Area as specified in Board Resolution No. 86/49 as part of this combined amendment to the County General Plan, including both the filed Plan, text and map, prepared by the Community Development Department. The copy ofthe Plan, map and text reflecting this amendment, on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board, shall be endorsed approved. PART V - Pleasant Hill Area. A copy of Resolution No. 60-1985 adopted by the Contra Costa County Planning Commission is on file with this Board in which the Commission sets forth its report on the proposed amendment of the County General Plan for the Center Avenue area as described in the Board's sub- sequent Resolution No. 86/59. This Board hereby adopts the amendment to the County General Plan for the Center Avenue area as specified in the Board Resolution No. 86/59 as part of this first combined amendment to the County General Plan, including both the filed Plan, text, and map prepared by the Community Development Department. A copy of the Plan map and text reflecting this amendment, on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board, shall be endorsed approved by the Clerk as provided therein. ` PART VI - Pleasant Hill Area. A copy of Resolution No. 55-1985 adopt- - ✓ ed by the Contra Costa County Area Planning Commission is on file with this board, in which the Commission sets forth its report on the proposed amendment of the County General Plan for the Hookston Square Amendment as described in the Board's subsequent Resolution No. 86/5.6. This Board hereby adopts the amendment to the County General Plan for the Hookston Square Area as proposed in its Resolution 86/56, as part of this combined amendment to the County General Plan, including both the filed text and map, prepared by the Community Development Department. The copy of the Plan map and text reflecting this amendment, on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board, shall be endorsed approved by the Clerk as provided thereon. PART VII - CEQA Notice. The Director of Community Development is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk a Notice of Determination con- cerning this adoption and the related CEQA actions.
