The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The above-named governing board of the above-named public
entity has ordered an election of the type specified above
(consolidated election) to be held in (a portion of) the territory
of said public entity on the date specified above, and has requested
that said election be consolidated with the election to be held on
said date.
-Therefore, this Board HEREBY RESOLVES THAT:
1. In accordance with Elections Code Sections 23300 et. seq.
said elections are hereby consolidated and shall be held in all
respects as though there were only one election;
2. The returns of the consolidated election shall be canvassed
by the County Clerk of the County of Contra Costa and when the results
are ascertained, the County Clerk shall certify them to the above
public entity;
3. The County Clerk of Contra Costa County shall include
in the sample ballots and official ballots submitted to the voters
of the said public entity the measure -or list of candidates to be
voted on in the consolidated election.
4. The County Clerk of Contra Costa County is authorized
and directed to charge to the said public entity any additional
expenses incurred by reason of this consolidation;
5. The Clerk of this Board is directed to forward a
certified copy of this resolution to the 'County Clerk of Contra
a Costa County and the governing-;body of the above public entity.
PASSED on July 17, 1984 by unanimous vote of Supervisors
present.

RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS
FOR CHANGE IN ORGANIZATION
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Application for the above-mentioned change in organization was
filed by representatives of the landowners with the Local Agency
Formation Commission' s Executive Officer on May 4 , 1984 .
On June 13, 1984 , the Local Agency Formation Commission
approved the Application, declared the territory proposed to be
annexed as legally uninhabited and designated the proposal as
"Subdivision 6390 Annexation to County Service Area L-43 (LAFC84-21) "
The reason for the proposed annexation is to provide street
lighting services to the area in question.
At 10: 30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11 , 1984 .in the Board' s
Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California,
this Board will conduct a public hearing on the rproposed annexation,
when all interested persons or taxpayers for or against the proposal
will be heard. Anyone desiring to make written protest thereto must
file it with the Clerk before the hearing. A written protest by an
owner of land must contain a description sufficient to identify his
land, and a written protest by a voter must contain his residential
address. At the end of the hearing, the Board shall either disapprove
or order the proposed annexation.
The Clerk of this Board shall have this resolution published
once in the Contra Costa Times , a newspaper of general
circulation published in this County and circulated in the territory
proposed to be annexed, not later than fifteen (15) days before the
hearing date. The Clerk shall also post notice of the hearing at
- least fifteen (15) days before the hearing date and continuing to
the time of the hearing. The Clerk shall also mail notice of the
hearing at least fifteen (15) days beforehand to all persons and
counties, cities, or districts which theretofore filed a written
request for special notice with the Clerk and to the LAFCO Executive
Officer.
