THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
AS EX OFFICIO THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
Adopted this Order on June 12, 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Approving Plans and Specifications
for Reroofing at Fire Station No. 10, ,
Concord Area.
Project No. 7100-4819; 0928-WH819B
RESOLUTION NO. 84/342_
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications for Reroofing at Fire Station No. 10, 2955
Treat Boulevard, Concord, have been filed with the Board this day by the Public Works
Director; and
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were prepared by the Public Works Department;
and
WHEREAS the Engineer's cost estimate for initial construction contract is $24,000.00,
base bid; and
WHEREAS the general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the minimum rates
paid on this project, have been approved by this Board; and
WHEREAS the Board hereby finds that the project is exempt from Environmental
Impact Report requirements as a Class ld Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines
and directs the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County
Clerk;
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Fire
Protection District, RESOLVES that said Plans and Specifications are hereby APPROVED.
Bids for this work will be received on July 12, 1984 at 2 :00 p.m. , and the Clerk
of this Board is DIRECTED to publish Notice to Contractors in accordance with Section
13885 of Health and Safety Code, inviting bids for said work, said Notice to be published
in the Contra Costa Times
