to Convey County Owned Property to
County Board of Education in Exchange
for the Oak Park School Site.

RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to convey to the Contra Costa County Board of Education,
County owned real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for one-half
(1/2) interest in the Oak Park School site, described in Exhibit "B", attached
hereto, plus $90,000 in cash. The fair market value of the property described
in Exhibit "A" is equal to the fair market value of one-half interest in the
property described in Exhibit "B" plus $90,000.00. The transaction will be
consumated generally upon the terms and conditions set forth in the Real Property
Exchange Agreement on file with the Real Property Division at 255 Glacier Drive,
Martinez, CA 94553.
The property to be conveyed to the Board of Education is not required
for any present or future County use. The property to be acquired from the
Board of Education is required for County use.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, June 5, 1984, at10:30 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers in the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, Califor-
nia, as the time and place it will meet to consummate this conveyance by a four-
fifths vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to have the attached notice
published in the CONTRA COSTA TIMES , a newspaper of general circulation,
one time, at least one week preceding the date set for hearing (pursuant to
Sec. 6061, Government Code).

The land referred to is . situated_ in the State of California, County
of Contra Costa, City of Pleasant Hill and is described as follows:
PARCEL ONE
Portion of the Rancho Las Junes , described as follows :
Beginning on the east line of Monte Cresta Drive , as described in the
deed from A. Steffensen to County of Contra Costa, recorded March 30 ,
1960 in Volume 3587 of Official Records, at page 206 , at the north
line of the parcel of land described in the deed from A. Steffensen , .
to Sutton-Pumphrey Co. , recorded January 29, 1960 in Volume 3546 of
Official Records, at page 542; thence from said point of beginning
along said east line as follows: North 0° 13' 30" east, 40. 32 feet;
northerly along the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 380
feet, tangent to -the last course , an arc distance of 149.04 feet to a
point from which the center of said curve bears south 670 45' 11"
west; northerly along the arc of a reverse curve to the right with a

Commencing on the north line of the County Road known as Oak Park
Boulevard, at the southwest corner of the four acre .parcel of land
described in the deed from George R. McNutt to Robert A. -Steffensen,

page 365; thence from said point of commencement easterly, along said
north line , along the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of
4030 feet through an angle of 00 42' 26 .5" an arc distance' of 49.76
feet to the actual point of beginning of the herein described parcel
of land ; thence from said point of beginning westerly and northerly
along the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of 20 feet, the
center of which bears north 00 55' 56" east, through an angle of 890
17' 33.5" , an arc distance of 31 .17 feet; thence north 00 13' 30"
