NOES: None. ABSENT: None . ABSTAIN: None . SUBJECT: In The Matter of Conditions of RESOLUTION: 84/ 149 Employment in The Class of Deputy Marshal-Recruit. THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLVES THAT: 1. The fixed-term class of Deputy Marshal-Recruit was established by the Board on March 1, 1981 by Resolution (13300) No. 11934 with incumbency limited to a period not to exceed five (5) months and to those individuals who have not yet completed the Basic P.O.S.T. Academy. 2. Under authority of Section 19.1 of the County Salary Ordinance (80-21) tenure in the fixed-term class of Deputy Marshal-Recruit may be extended upon the written request of the Marshal and the approval of the Director of Personnel beyond five (5) months for a period not to exceed eighteen (18) months from the date of appointment. Such eighteen (18) month maximum being consistent with limitations established by P.O.S.T for completion of the Basic P.O.S.T. Academy.
