SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR.RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Child Support Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Intresys, Inc, in an amount not to exceed $227,230.00 to provide customization, enhancements and maintenance to the existing TurboCourt child support application system during the period May 15, 2008 through June 30, 2009. FISCAL IMPACT: None. The cost of this contract is budgeted within the State's allocation to Child Support Services. There will be no impact on the General Fund. CONTINUED ON ATTACHMENT: . This contract is intended to further enhance the process allowing • Electronic submission and submission of applications for the Review and Adjust process for both the Custodial and.Non Custodial parents • Modify the existing full and minimum child support applications paths to allow CP filers to provide foreign addresses • Enhance the.existing E-Delivery Queue module which allows for electronic review and acceptance of the completed documents by DCSS to include the Review and Adjust Request forms • A public module which allows for print and mail, and electronic submission of documents for all case types m The System will be available online at the Website to all persons who may potentially file any child support case with the county These enhancements are undertaken with approval from the California Department of Child Support Services as the pilot for statewide implementation Please refer to the attached letter from the office of California Department of Child Support Services approving our request to enhance our current system in the amount of$202,230.00. This request is the result of the Department of Child'Support Services (DCSS) policy requiring local child support agencies (LCSA) to request approval to purchase Non-EDP automation components or services. After further review and discussion, DCSS is approving your request as submitted. Please be reminded that there is no additional funding for approved requests, and expenditures are subject to the Non-EDP administrative allocation for your LCSA.
