FISCAL IMPACT: No immediate impact fiscal impact. Current IHSS clerical support staff will be eligible for this benefit in FY12/13. BACKGROUND Effective 7/1/08, represented clerical employees will begin to receive a Longevity Pay benefit after ten (10) years of service. In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority has consistently mirrored the benefits of comparable merit system classifications. This action will allow In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority classifications to continue to mirror County classifications. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority clerical support classifications will no longer mirror all benefits offered to comparable merit system classifications. The provisions of this Resolution shall apply only to the job classifications listed and to such other classes in existence as of July 1, 2008 that may have been inadvertently omitted from the table.
