FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, no County funds will be used as a result of this action. BACKGROUND: In June 2007,the Community Services Bureau projected a need for two(2)Clerk Specialist level positions with the Child Division contract CaIWORKS Stage 2(C2AP)to operate child programs within the Employment and Human Services Department. The Department operated this program for several months, and concluded that there is a greater need for analytical administrative support rather than the specialized clerical support. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, the Department will have insufficient analytical administrative support staff to operate the child care programs providing services and protection for the children in the County placed in our care.
