BACKGROUND: The Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) provides supportive services to non- English speaking clients whose primary languages include, but are limited to Spanish, Korean, Laotian, Tagalog, Russian, Farsi, Afghani, and Vietnamese. On-call oral and written translation services provide communication assistance to EHSD clients whose language needs cannot be met by the EHSD staff. This contract amendment will pay Contractor for authorized services, in excess of the contract payment limit, during the month of April. 20-549-37
