These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low-income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: Conoco Phillips has a community benefit program which provided $500 for Project Cold Hands for the Bayo Vista Children's Center in Rodeo. The intent of the program is to provide hats, gloves and scarves to children for their use in the play yard on cold days. Funds were also used to sponsor the "Week of the Young Child" in April 2008.
