BACKGROUND:
Current employees in Position#9942 and Position#12058 have worked consistently over their assigned position hours.
Health Services noted that employees incurred overtime pay consistently between the period of April 1, 2007 to September
30, 2007, and stated that additional hours would be needed. Human Resources has confirmed that overtime pay for both
individuals has continued up to date. The proposed change to increase position hours for both positions will eliminate or
sufficiently reduce the amount of overtime pay currently being paid and/or incurred monthly.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved the Health Services department will continue to incur overtime pay/liability because there is
payroll documentation to support that the need for additional position hours remains to date.
