FISCAL IMPACT: No impact from this update. BACKGROUND: On April 7, 2008 the Employment and Human Services Department, Director of Community Services presented their annual report to the Family:and Human Services Committee on their accomplishments, challenges, structure, and other issues facing the Department in the future. The Committee accepted the report and requested that the Community Services Bureau present the report to the Board of Supervisors. The attached document provides details. The Community Service Bureau's Strategic Plan will ensure that the Department is meeting all of the goals, objectives, and funding requirements for the programs that it administers.
