SUBJECT: Approval of Contract#23-326-6 with Aspira Technologies,Inc.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Pat Godley) to execute on
behalf of the County, Contract #23-326-6 with Aspira Technologies, Inc., a corporation, in an
amount not to exceed $500,000, to provide temporary Programmer/Analysts for the Department's
Information Systems Unit, for the period from April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100%by budgeted Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S):
On April 4, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-326-5 with Aspira
Technologies, Inc., for the period from April 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008, for the provision
of consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to designing, developing,
maintaining, and enhancing custom software applications.
Approval of Contract #23-326-6 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through
March 31,2009.
