Subject: Flatbed Trailer Purchase
For all of the different events that we support, the Emergency Services Support Unit (ESSU) is in
need of a flatbed trailer to move equipment and supplies. The addition of a flatbed trailer will allow for
larger pieces of equipment to be moved without the impairment of wheel wells as we have on our
current trailer. In the past, we have had to borrow trailers similar to this to support our operations.
We have sought a bid from B&D Trailer for this trailer. B&D is a small business and meets all of the
requirements of the County Purchasing Program.
Funds for this purchase will be obtained through the OHV Program.
