FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds, offset 50% State and 50% Federal. BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S): On June 13, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-108-36(3) with Jean Kasha, MFT, for the period from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008, for the provision of Medi-Cal mental health specialty services. At the time of negotiations, the payment limit was based on target levels of utilization. However, the utilization during the term of the agreement was higher than originally anticipated. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74-108-36(4) will allow the Contractor to provide additional services through June 30, 2008.
