RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20534; to add one(1) permanent full-time Information Systems Assistant I (LTWH)
position at salary level 3R5 0909($2,576-$3,131) [Represented]and cancel one(1) Experienced Level Clerk(JWXB) position
#11927 [Represented]as recommended by the Assistant County Administrator-Human Resources Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval,this action will result in an annual County Cost Savings of$1,560.
BACKGROUND:
The Health Services Department is requesting the cancellation of(1) Experienced Level Clerk, position#11927 which is vacant, and
add (1) Information Systems Assistant I position. The new ISA I position will be assigned to the Performance Measurement unit of the
Contra Costa Health Plan and will be primarily responsible for data entry into the Rims database. The Rims database tracks
information used by the Contra Costa Health Plan.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved,the Performance Measurement unit will not ha the properly classified staff in position. Having a
dedicated Information Systems Assistant I position with the primary function of i utting data will provide the necessary upport to the
Performance Measurement unit of the Contra Costa Health Plan.
