The Mental Health Division-will pilot th',;e IMPACT Program model in primary care clinics in each county region. Short-term cogpitive.therapy will be provided in the clinics to older adults with medical diagnoses of diabetes;"`card io-vascular disease and/or chronic pain and who show signs of depression and possible suicide'.' During the Proposition 63 Planning Process, mental health consumers and families identified the need for a full range of supportive housing. In order to address this need, 4 of the 19 new positions will'be assigned to the Housing'Program to manage and oversee existing housing opportunities ,for ,.MRSA clients, and to seek housing resources for the county's current 150 mental health consumers living in.the County's contracted board and care.
