FISCAL IMPACT: The total annual cost associated with,the action is$189,486.50 and is within the Health Services Department's budget. BACKGROUND: The Director, In-Patient Nursing Operations classification will be responsible for oversight and management of CCRMC nursing staff, approximately 13 hospital nursing units. The position will be responsible for oversight of the patient acuity system, including budgetary, fiscal expenditures, automating and';improving staffing, and the scheduling and care delivery processes. The Director, In-Patient Nursing Operations will function as an assistant department head,to they Chief Nursing Officer to determine, advocate and implement substantive program policy. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, Health Services will not have dedicatedm ageme t oversight of the nursing staff units assigned to the CCRMC.
