SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to
execute a contract amendment with InTelegy Corporation to increase the payment limit by
$28,800 to a new payment limit of$408,000 and extend the term from March 31, 2008 to June
30, 2008 to compensate Contactor for increased use of Medi-Cal Service Center Operations
Support services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$408,000: 50% State Funds; 50% Federal Funds. No County costs.

SUBJECT: Amend Contract with InTelegy Corporation to provide Medi-Cal Service
Center Operations Support
BACKGROUND:
InTelegy Corporation continues to provide on-site and off-site consulting, project management
and training services for a state-of-the-art Medi-Cal Service Center. InTelegy's expertise in the
coordination and integration of the County Medi-Cal Service Center (Service Center) system in
the areas of operations, performance management, technology, and infrastructure helps
accommodate enhanced project management, program and systems design, and expanded
training on process and procedures to best serve the clients of the Service Center. Additionally,
InTelegy Corporation is assisting management in developing reports to track actions, forecast
workload volumes, and evaluate workflow for areas such as intake, case maintenance and
phone customer care.
InTelegy Corporation is providing increased services in support to the Medi-Cal Service Center
task management and scheduling, workflow, personnel and training, and system oversight.
